Overview
Our 2-day Precision Hunter Foundation course offers the world's most comprehensive Level 1 precision rifle training specifically designed for hunters. The Cadre has partnered with Tenacity Arms to deliver instruction focused on building foundational precision rifle principles that will make you more confident and capable in the field.
Developed and taught by Marine Scout Sniper Instructors with over 50 years of combined experience, this course bridges tactical precision shooting expertise with real-world hunting applications.
Many shooting courses tell you what you'll learn, but we focus on what you'll be able to do. This isn't about memorizing facts—it's about developing real-world hunting skills. After 2 days with us, you won't just know about precision rifle shooting; you'll be able to confidently and consistently execute it when it matters most—in the field.
Tenacity Arms rifles will be provided for this course. You'll train with the Tenacity-X chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, allowing you to experience a purpose-built precision hunting platform while learning fundamental skills.

Capabilities You'll Develop
Safely handle and operate a precision rifle system in hunting contexts.Select the ideal rifle and cartridge for your hunting needs.Understand how to operate and the full functionality of your precision riflescope.Set up your precision rifle for maximum comfort, stability, and recoil management in field shooting positions.Properly zero your scope at 100 yards.Demonstrate the capabilities and limitations of your precision rifle system at 100 yards.Effectively manage recoil while shooting from the prone position and other hunting-relevant positions.Develop a systematic approach to creating a stable and effective precision shooting position in the field.Program and utilize a modern ballistic solver for precise calculations in hunting scenarios.Engage targets at known distances from stable, foundational shooting positions.Develop your abilities as a long-range spotter and learn to communicate effectively, read wind, and identify trace.Establish a consistent method for reading wind and formulating an accurate wind firing solution for hunting situations.
Prerequisites
None regarding prior shooting experience. This is a foundational course.Proof of Legal Firearm Possession: Must provide proof via sheriff's letter, current CCW, or Form 4473 from past year.
