Overview
This intensive Precision Rifle Hunter Advanced course is the essential evolution for graduates of our Foundation Course, pushing you beyond basic proficiency toward instinctive capability in the field. The Cadre has partnered with Tenacity Arms to deliver an immersive 2-day program specifically designed to transition mastered fundamentals into advanced, real-world hunting skills.
Led by Marine Scout Sniper Instructors, this course focuses on the advanced techniques that define elite precision hunters. You will leverage tripod shooting, master complex wind reading in dynamic terrain, and learn to maximize the efficiency and deployment of your gear to ensure every piece of equipment seamlessly contributes to a successful shot.
Who This Course Is For: Shooters with equivalent Level 1 training or graduates of our Foundation Course whose process is automatic and who are ready to train under stress to turn knowledge into reliable performance when it matters most.
Capabilities You'll Develop
Safely execute precision rifle operations in dynamic, uncontrolled field environments.Build and maintain stable shooting positions from barricades, obstacles, and unconventional support structures.Manage wobble zone effectively across multiple shooting positions while maintaining acceptable precision standards.Read and interpret wind indicators across varying terrain and adjust firing solutions in real-time.Develop rapid yet precise transitions between shooting positions and targets under time constraints.Effectively manage and deploy your gear system in field conditions without sacrificing shooting performance.Apply recoil management techniques from unstable and unconventional positions.Make accurate elevation and windage calls on unknown distance targets using modern technology and equipment.Adapt your shooting process to challenging environmental conditions including weather, terrain, and time pressure.Function as both shooter and spotter in team scenarios, communicating corrections and wind calls under stress.Troubleshoot and overcome positional stability issues independently in the field.Execute your complete shooting process—from position building to follow-through—with consistency across varied scenarios.
Prerequisites
Proof of Legal Firearm Possession: Must provide proof via sheriff's letter, current CCW, or Form 4473 from past year.
To ensure you're prepared for the advanced challenges in this course, students must demonstrate:
Foundational Proficiency: Completion of our Foundation Course or equivalent level 1 precision rifle training with documented proficiency.Unconscious Competence from Prone: Consistent execution of proper shooting fundamentals from the prone position without conscious thought—your process should be automatic.Recoil Management: Clean, consistent recoil management that allows you to spot your own impacts and maintain stable sight picture through the shot.Ballistic Solver Competency: Working knowledge of modern ballistic solvers and ability to generate accurate firing solutions for known distance engagements.Equipment Readiness: A properly zeroed precision rifle system with functional optic, and familiarity with your rifle's operation and adjustments.
