NRL Hunter - Defiance AnTi-Social Train Up
NRL HUNTER TRAIN UP | ANTISOCIAL
A 4-Hour Pre-Match Clinic from The Cadre Training Group
As the official training and education partner of NRL Hunter, The Cadre is proud to bring this clinic to the Defiance Anti-Social Match.
The NRL Hunter format is built around real-world shooting positions, field-expedient supports, and time pressure — the same variables that define ethical, effective hunting. If you've never shot a match, the format can feel like a lot to absorb. That's what we're here for.
Four hours with us is not going to turn you into Matt Alwine or Jon Pynch. We're not going to pretend otherwise. What it will do is give you a framework, build some exposure, and send you into the match with tools you can actually apply — both this weekend and long after it. We're not here to reinvent your shot process the night before. We're here to give you a foundation you can build on.
WHAT WE COVER
Foundational Mechanics — The non-negotiables. Position, natural point of aim, and the fundamentals that make everything else work under field conditions.
Target Finding — Our observation process for locating and confirming targets before the clock beats you to it.
Shooting from a Tripod — Technique, attachment, and how to get stable fast. This is the tool of the format. We'll make sure you understand how to use it.
Equipment Management — What you need, how to carry it, and how to stage it efficiently when the clock is running.
Approaching NRL Hunter Stages — How to read a stage, build a plan, and execute without overthinking it. We'll walk through the most common formats you'll see on the line.
How to Practice on Your Own — The goal isn't dependency. We'll show you how to replicate this training at home so you can keep building after the match.
WHAT YOU LEAVE WITH
Exposure to the format. A repeatable process. And a clear path for your own training moving forward.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Once registered, for this match, you'll be assigned to either the morning or afternoon class - Morning: 8AM to 12PM | Afternoon: 12PM - 4PM. From there, The Cadre team will send you a series of pre-course educational materials built around the NRL Hunter format — everything you need to know about what to bring and how to prepare. No guesswork.
Before the match, you'll also have the opportunity to meet your instructors on a Zoom call to iron out any last-minute questions and make sure we hit the ground running. Four hours goes fast. We want to make every minute count.
All training questions and communication should be directed to info@thecadretraining.com — please do not bug the match director. They've got enough on their plate.
