Range Day with The Cadre. This Class if for previous Students of a Foundation or Advanced Level Course who are looking for a Fundamentals Reset or Refinement of their Tripod Techniques. There will be no CLASSROOM Instruction.

Day 1 Mon, Aug 30
Foundation and advanced refresher course
Work on areas you feel youve fatigued in. Give Yourself a Foundational Reset or Work on your Tripod Techniques.
- NO CLASSROOM.
- We will head straight to the Firing Line.
- Complete safety orientation and course expectations
- Confirm rifle fit, zero, and muzzle velocity
- Reinforce fundamentals through structured 100-yard drills
- Build and validate ballistic solver profiles
- Apply data on mid-range targets with coach feedback
- Free Range. Work on whatever you like with 1 on 1 instruction from Instructors roaming the line.
The final schedule can shift with weather, terrain, and the class in front of us. The standard stays the same: clear reps, coached correction, and useful debriefs.

Recon Marine · Recon Sniper Course instructor
Former Recon Sniper Course instructor, now a firefighter and lifelong hunter who serves as The Cadre's safety officer. He'd rather glass a hillside at dawn than run a stage on the clock, and he teaches the way he hunts: slow down, read your conditions, make the first round count.

Prerequisites
- Proof of legal firearm possession: sheriff's letter, current CCW, or a Form 4473 from the past year.

Bring the rifle system you plan to train with. If something is not sorted yet, bring it anyway and we will help you understand what matters.

Required
- Precision rifle system capable of shooting under 1 MOA, with a rough 100-yard zero
- Precision optic with adjustable turrets (MIL or MOA), mounted and level
- Bipod with cant and swivel
- Rear support bag
- Two magazines (ability to load 20 rounds for courses of fire)
- Ballistic solver (Hornady 4DOF is free and works)
- Eye protection and ear protection
- Individual first aid kit
- Rifle case, hard or soft
- Rifle and optic cleaning kit, plus length-of-pull spacers and spare parts
- Notebook and pen
Personal sustainment
- Seasonally appropriate range clothing and layers
- Sturdy footwear for the range
- Snacks and lunch
- Water
- Field chair
